Platform & getting started
What is EZ4Youtech?
EZ4Youtech is a multi-tenant BYOK AI workflow platform for businesses. Each client gets an isolated workspace with up to 20 EZ Utility Apps plus 10 industry-specific apps for one of 20 verticals. Your team uses AI apps daily; tenant admins configure encrypted API keys once. Superadmin controls which industries and utilities are Live vs Coming soon by launch wave.
Who is the platform for?
Industry-focused businesses and the agencies or partners that serve them — teams that want secure document analysis, email drafting, and vertical workflows without building custom AI infrastructure.
What industries are supported?
One industry per client tenant: real estate, life insurance, pharmacy, auto dealerships, or law firms. Team members see the utility app catalog plus the apps for that vertical. See Industries.
Do I need technical staff to run it?
Day-to-day use is for your team. A tenant admin completes one-time BYOK setup (API keys). EZ4Youtech or your partner provisions the workspace, industry, and plan — no coding required for standard apps.
Is this white-label software we own?
No. Clients receive a license to use their tenant on the shared EZ4Youtech platform. Source code and platform IP remain with EZ4Youtech unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Partners earn commission; they do not own the product.
Demo, pilot & launch
How do I request a demo?
Use Contact to submit your goals or book a 30-minute call. We walk through roles (admin vs user), BYOK, plan tiers, and industry apps relevant to your vertical.
What happens during a pilot?
A pilot is a guided evaluation on your chosen tier. EZ4Youtech provisions the workspace; your admin adds BYOK keys; your team runs utility and industry apps. Pilot launch waives the platform fee for: Basic 3 months, Standard 2 months, Elite 1 month (see Pricing — Pilot launch). Partner economics are described on the Partner program page only.
Is the pilot free?
The EZ4Youtech platform subscription fee is $0 during the pilot window for your plan tier. You still need your own API keys for live AI — provider usage is billed by OpenAI, Together, or Anyscale directly. After pilot, you opt into paid monthly or yearly billing on your plan.
When should we move from pilot to a paid plan?
When you are ready for more users, more apps, or production use beyond evaluation. We recommend moving to at least Standard ($59/mo) within 60–90 days if you need more than one user or more than two utility + two industry apps. Standard is the default paid tier for sustainable support and features.
Can we stay on Basic after the pilot?
Yes — Basic ($39/mo, one user) is available for very small teams. It is an entry tier with limited apps and users. Most growing teams upgrade to Standard or Elite for document formats, more users, and the full industry pack path.
Plans & platform pricing
What are the platform subscription prices?
Published list prices (Option A):
- Basic — $39/mo or $429/yr (1 user)
- Standard — $59/mo or $649/yr (up to 5 users)
- Elite — $119/mo or $1,309/yr (up to 10 users)
- Enterprise — custom; platform often from $399/mo
Yearly plans include one month free. Full detail: Pricing.
Is my platform plan rate locked?
Yes — for published Basic, Standard, and Elite tiers, your list rate is locked for 3 years from signup, then increases by 5% once, then locked again for 3 years (repeat). This applies to platform subscription fees, not BYOK provider usage. See Price protection and your contract for Enterprise or custom terms.
What is included in the platform fee?
The subscription covers the EZ4Youtech platform: tenant isolation, app catalog by plan, users, encrypted BYOK storage, document history, plan-based gating, and support for the product — not your OpenAI/Together/Anyscale token usage.
What is the difference between Basic, Standard, and Elite?
Main differences are seats and how many apps unlock:
- Basic — 1 user; 2 utility + 2 industry apps
- Standard — up to 5 users; 7 utility + 5 industry apps; DOCX/PDF extraction
- Elite — up to 10 users; all 20 utility + all 10 industry apps (when launched); workflow, compliance, and AI Blog Generator
How does billing work after pilot?
Clients are billed for the platform plan (monthly or yearly). Tenant admins can manage billing contacts and renewal status in the platform dashboard (scaffold supports renewal reminders by email; production may integrate Stripe). Invoices reflect plan tier and billing interval.
Can we change plans later?
Yes. Your platform operator (EZ4Youtech superadmin or your partner) can upgrade or downgrade plan tier subject to user limits and app access rules. Downgrades may disable apps above the new tier.
Are there per-user fees above what your plan includes?
Published tiers include fixed user caps (1 / 5 / 10 / up to 100 on Enterprise). Additional per-user pricing may be quoted for Enterprise or high-growth accounts — ask during sales.
BYOK & AI usage costs
What does BYOK mean?
Bring Your Own Key — you connect your own API keys for OpenAI, Together, Anyscale, or compatible providers. AI usage is billed directly by your provider. EZ4Youtech does not markup token costs in the BYOK model.
Why separate platform fee and BYOK?
You keep full control and visibility of AI spend on your provider dashboard. You choose models (e.g. cost-efficient vs premium). The platform fee pays for apps, security, multi-tenancy, and operations — not tokens.
How much does AI usage typically cost?
It depends on model and volume. Illustrative monthly BYOK ranges (not EZ4Youtech fees):
- Light (1 user pilot) — about $5–25/mo on economical models
- Standard team (5 users) — about $30–120/mo
- Heavy (10 users, premium models) — $100–400+/mo
See the BYOK table on Pricing. Check your provider's current rates.
Who stores our API keys?
Keys are entered by your tenant admin, encrypted at rest in the database, and used only at runtime to call your chosen provider. They are not exposed to other tenants and are not logged in application logs.
Can we use only one AI provider?
Yes. Configure the keys you need; users pick provider and allowed model in the app UI. You may use one provider exclusively if that fits your compliance or procurement process.
Safer and smarter than consumer AI chat (ChatGPT, Copilot, and others)
EZ4Youtech is built for business workflows with BYOK, tenant isolation, and tuned apps — not a generic chat box.
Why is EZ4Youtech safer than ChatGPT, Copilot, or other consumer AI?
Consumer tools are designed for individuals. You often cannot fully control whether your prompts and files are used to train public models, how long they are retained, or who can access chat history across your company.
With EZ4Youtech you use Bring Your Own Key (BYOK): your organization connects your own paid API subscription (OpenAI, Together, Anyscale, or compatible providers). Training, retention, and opt-out are governed by your provider account settings — not a free consumer tier you do not administer.
Who controls whether my data is used for model training?
You do — via your AI provider. EZ4Youtech routes requests with your tenant's encrypted keys. Configure training and data-use policies in your provider's console (e.g. opt out of training on API data where the provider offers it). EZ4Youtech does not sell your content and does not use your workflows to train public models.
Why do I spend fewer tokens (and often less money) than in ChatGPT?
In consumer chat you repeatedly paste long context: role, industry, tone, output format, and examples. Our 220 catalog apps embed that context through prompt engineering and structured fields — so users fill a form instead of writing paragraphs. Shorter, focused prompts mean fewer tokens per task and lower BYOK bills for the same work.
Where is my chat and workflow history stored?
On consumer AI, conversation history lives on their product (Microsoft, OpenAI, etc.). On EZ4Youtech, run history and documents stay in your tenant — tenant-scoped storage with access enforced by your login and tenant_id. Your provider sees only the API calls needed for each run, not a permanent shared chat log on their consumer site.
Does EZ4Youtech capture or sell my data?
No — that is not our business model. Revenue comes from platform subscription (apps, users, isolation, support). We do not monetize your prompts by selling them to third parties or advertising networks. Confirm any additional commitments in your enterprise agreement if required.
What else makes the platform better for teams?
- Multi-tenant isolation — each client workspace is separated; JWT-scoped APIs.
- Roles — admins hold keys; users run apps without handling secrets.
- Plan-based catalog — 20 utility + 10 industry apps unlocked by tier (Basic 3+2 · Standard 10+5 · Elite 20+10 when fully launched).
- Consistent outputs — structured sections and compliance-oriented templates per app.
- Usage visibility — token and usage summaries for cost control (see Pricing BYOK).
Security & data
How is tenant data isolated?
Every API request is tied to a JWT with tenant_id. Data, documents, analyses, and keys are scoped to that tenant. One deployment serves many clients without sharing workspaces.
Where are documents stored?
Uploaded documents and analysis history use tenant-scoped storage (local or S3-compatible object storage in production). Paths and access checks enforce tenant boundaries.
Do you claim SOC 2 or HIPAA?
We describe an enterprise-ready security architecture. We do not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA certification unless explicitly stated in a signed agreement. See Security.
Is our data used to train public models?
Your prompts go to your configured provider under your account and their policies. EZ4Youtech does not sell client data. Confirm training/opt-out settings with your AI provider.
Can we deploy in a specific region?
Enterprise customers can discuss regional hosting and data residency (e.g. Canada, UAE, India) as part of a custom SOW. Standard SaaS runs on the shared platform region agreed at onboarding.
Roles & daily use
What login roles exist?
- Superadmin (EZ4Youtech) — provisions tenants, partners, plans
- Partner — provisions and manages their referred clients
- Tenant admin — BYOK setup, billing contacts, no user apps
- Agent — uses utility and industry apps per plan
Why can't tenant admins run the apps?
Separating setup from daily use keeps API keys with admins and reduces accidental key exposure on staff devices. Agents focus on workflows; admins configure once.
What apps are live today vs coming soon?
The platform catalog has 220 apps (20 utility + 200 industry). Superadmin chooses launch waves — Wave 1 is live by default (5 utilities + 5 industries). Later waves show Coming soon · Wave 2–4 on the site until you enable them. Each launched app includes a production AI workspace powered by your BYOK keys. Specialized UIs cover document upload, email drafting, policy summary, client outreach, and document-workflow apps; the rest use archetype workspaces with tuned prompts. AI Blog Generator (Elite) produces copy-paste-ready marketing articles. Enterprise custom integrations are scoped separately.
Can users see usage and billing?
Agents can view AI usage summaries. Billing and renewal are tenant-admin functions. Superadmin and partners see portfolio revenue and client usage in their dashboards.
Partners & referrals
How does the partner program work?
Approved partners market EZ4Youtech and provision their referred client tenants. Partners earn tiered recurring commission on paid platform subscriptions — not platform ownership. Details: Partner program.
What commission do partners earn?
0% during pilot until the client's first paid invoice. Then each client gets a 12-month year-one window at tiered rates (individual / business), capped at 35%. From month 13 while the client keeps paying, a flat ongoing token rate applies on all plans. Full tables: Partner program.
Where do partners see live rates and targets?
After sign-in, open the platform Partner dashboard — Plan & Grow shows your targets, year-one commission table, and ongoing token rates. Superadmin can set per-partner contract overrides; your dashboard shows effective rates only.
Do partners earn on custom integrations?
Default: 0% on one-time SOW work ($1,499+ per integration) unless agreed in writing. Platform subscription commission follows the tier table above.
Can partners white-label the product?
Not by default. Partners sell EZ4Youtech-branded subscriptions under partner terms and the MSA. White-label requires a separate agreement.
How do I become a partner?
Apply via Contact with your company profile, industries served, and expected client volume. EZ4Youtech superadmin creates partner accounts after review.
As a client referred by a partner, who do I pay?
You contract with EZ4Youtech for the platform subscription. Your partner supports sales and onboarding; billing and terms are with EZ4Youtech unless your agreement states otherwise.
Enterprise & custom work
When do we need Enterprise?
When you need many users (up to 100), custom workflows, integrations (CRM, carrier APIs, Zillow, etc.), or enterprise procurement and SLA-style support. Elite covers most app needs; Enterprise adds custom build on the shared platform.
What does Enterprise cost?
Platform fee — custom quote, often from $399/mo. Custom development — from $1,499 per integration or workflow (one-time), scoped in a Statement of Work. Optional maintenance retainers per integration.
Do we get source code on Enterprise?
No. Custom work is delivered on the shared multi-tenant platform with isolation for your tenant. You receive usage rights, not ownership of platform IP.
Can partners sell Enterprise?
Partners may refer Enterprise opportunities; Enterprise plan approval and SOW pricing are coordinated with EZ4Youtech superadmin. Partner commission on Enterprise platform fee is 15% individual / 20% business for 12 months when applicable.
